Default Playing on a proxy or vpn

I'm moving over to the States early next month and I'm wondering about if it's possible to play via an IP router or something, as I want to play with poker stars and paddy powers.

I know that these sites don't like people in America playing them, so I'm wondering how I can still get my fix of online poker in while away in sunny florida.

What do other people do to play when they are travelling around the place ?

I can recommend for proxies, but it's still no guarantee that they will work with your provider. They work well for watching TV when abroad, but I've never used it on any gambling sites. I guess you could give it a lash, prices start from $5/month so it's not too bad.

A lot of these poker sites have had to take serious measures to block US players, or otherwise face serious consequences from the feds in the US. So I'm guessing that they will be harder to trick than normal sites. Also these sites take fraud serious, as well they have to, so I'm guessing they have ways of finding out if you are using a proxy/vpn.

Thanks Paul, will check that out in a bit. I never considered the fact that these places might see it as a sign of fraud
