Does anyone have any good starting points , on how to improve my poker face ? I mean I know I should wear sunglasses, but I also find it hard to see the cards, so that is out. I also try to wear Hawaiian shirts so that it will take peoples attention away from my face.
Tips welcome !

one i find great in a live game is to fold your small blind in the first few round
evin if you get value or not you come accross very tight and is a great way to steal blinds
later on in the game but only the good player's will notice you do this!!!!

give off so many that they dont know what to think
give deliberate tells, frown when u have a great hand, you would be surprised how many players notice it
all joking aside
repitition is the key to zero tells
do the same thing every hand
look at your cards, then maybe place a chip protector on the top of them, even if you know you are folding, or raising or calling,
take the same amount of time for every decision, not undue delays, but the same time delay every time
be aware of how you get chips when you are taking them for each bet, make it the exact same movement for calling and or raising
after you make a bet, pick a point on the table or the wall or some particular point to stare at, always stare at the same place wherever you play whatever the size of bet
dont under any circumstances speak, unless you have been playing a very long time and know how to do really good speech play, my advice is never speak after you make a bet, dont answer any query, even if that query is how many chips have you got left
let the dealer answer that and any other query
NEVER EVER show your cards unless you are in a showdown
NEVER SHOW YOUR CARDS EVER, UNLESS YOU ARE FORCED TO
this info is too valuable to a good player, they remember what you showed and recount your range of hands the next time you bet
dont wear anything that reveals your neck too much, there is an artery that can pump a lot when players are under pressure
dont do the deep sigh of disappointment when you have a monster hand, its too obvious
be careful of your breathing while awaiting a decision from another player after you make a bet, breath constant, level, be aware of it
if you are chewing gum after you make a bet, be aware of speeding up of chewing while waiting for a decision
chew constant, evenly, maybe even slow it down a little, remain calm
always remain with a disdainful demeanour, like you dont care what they decide to do, call-raise or fold is all the one to you
if a player takes longer than 1.5 Minutes, call the clock immediately, pressurise the other player, panic them into a decision, usually that will become a fold
if a player asks you will you show if they fold, dont answer, shrug your shoulders
here is decent speech play
a player asks would you prefer if i called or folded
say this
"i am going to tell you what i always prefer, that every bet i make resuls in a fold, that way you cant get lucky and suck out on me
so fold"
be aware of giving a player the correct odds to call, after the flop, half pot betting is enough, on the TURn, bet half what it is now and again on the river do the same again, even if you are completely bluffing with air
pulling the trigger a 3rd time with air is very hard, but usually worth it
remember this
the older the player, the less likely he is to be bluffing
oh yeah and here is the most obvious tell ever
remember when a kid is telling lies he will cover his mouth, trying to hide the fact that he lied
adults dont cover their mouth but as a hangover from their kiddie days, they may actually start raising their hand towards their mouth and just scratch their nose
a nose scratch after a bet is generally a perfect way to spot a bluff
its also a great way of getting a caller if you have the nuts against a good player
you have the nuts, take a little longer to bet, look back and forward at the player, have another look at your cards, have a few more second glances at the pot and the flop, bet, then immediately scratch your nose
rub it, like you are wiping sweat off it
get called in a heartbeat
once again of you have the nuts, bet, then make it look like your mouth is dry
lesson over for today
it will all be in my book of great poker plays
