Offline and online poker

What is the main difference if any between the online version and the offline version other than the using computer or not using it

I'd say more than anything, it's the atmosphere. Something different about being really there around the table and actually seeing the players faces in person. Although I do play online as well, I find its better and more sociable to get together with your mates every so often and take all their money. :D

I don't like online poker, I always wonder if you can really trust these places to be honest. Like what is stopping two or three people playing "together" in an internet cafe and sharing the details of their hands over Skype or some other chat program.

I like the people aspect of poker and I think this is something you loose if you start playing on a computer.
