What makes you LUCKY on playing poker?

Sure luck does come into play, but it's also knowing when to take advantage of your cards that will make you a winner. Other things like reading the other players and using your position will help your chances in winning. It takes more than just 1 factor to win at poker. You are not always going to be dealt the best hand in poker, it's knowing what to do with it, that matters.

Pretty much the same thing. Knowing when to play your hand, knowing when to milk it, knowing when to fold and getting to know the people around you. Also working out the possible hands for other players tell tale signs like only swapping one card, or 4 hearts laid out and thinking if you can plausibly beat that hand. Then deciding if the risk is worth it of course and judging by how much people are betting at the time. It takes many factors to make up a good game although I like to think lady luck is on my side, I use my head too.
