Playing Poker Games

What are the strategies used in playing live poker? Do you change your game compared with online games ? I always try to sit beside (better after) someone who I know is strong so when it comes to the blinds I generally have a better chance of stealing blinds. It's worked on and off , but I would love to know more about strategy for these things.

I have found many politicians playing games like poker and black jack. when i ask them about it they said its Entertaining. Is it same the politics and poker.
